An excellent Ron Kusse Black Troll 76 3-piece, 2-tip fly rod. Serial #0153. This is a medium fast, 5 weight rod. Exhibits normal fishing use. There is some hand-soiling of the grip, some light scratches and scuffing. Lovely varnish work, for which Ron is rightly recognized. Burgundy silk wraps with three Thomas-style wind-aways at keeper and male ferrules. Keeper ring 1 flat right. Tony hexed front cork check. Attractively styled cigar grip slopes back to Catskill style reel seat lip. The seat is a varnished and mortised burl walnut. Oxidized cap and ring with substantial wear to oxidation. Stamped Ron Kusse Maker. Roller die stamped on cap.

The truncated swiss ferrules are oxidized. Two tips are mirrored, however one tip shows a 1 long seam, which appears to be filled with glue though not open. Rod bag with Rons hanging tag. Black crackle painted rod tube, gold anodized aluminum top. Tube collar has Rons stamp.
